According to the information, Tata’s next electric car will also be based on Ziptron technology. The company’s Ziptron platform is more modern and advanced than the Express-T platform being used earlier. There will not be much difference in the design of Tata Tiago and Tiago EV. The Tiago EV can be made available in Signature Teal Blue and Daytona Grey.

The company is using both these colors as standard in its electric vehicles. Apart from this, blue accent will also be used in many places in the car. It is being said that the company can use the Tigor EV’s equipment in the Tiago EV. The instrument cluster, multimedia display and dashboard of both the cars could be similar.

Tata Motors sold 47,166 units of passenger vehicles in August, which includes 43,321 units of ICEs and 3,845 units of electric vehicles. The company has registered a growth of 60% in sales of ICE Passenger Vehicles and 276% in sales of EV Passenger Vehicles. Tata Motors continues to perform well in the SUV segment. The company has made the highest ever sales of Nexon and Punch in the month of August, with 15,085 units and 12,006 units sold respectively.

Tata Motors recently launched the Prime and Max variants of the Nexon EV in the Z Edition, priced at Rs 17.50 lakh and Rs 19.54 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. The Jet Edition of the Tata Nexon EV is based on its top spec XZ+ Lux variant.
