This company of the country launched the cheapest electric car, price Rs 4.79 lakh

Mumbai’s electric vehicle manufacturing startup company PMV Electric has today launched the cheapest electric car named Eas (EaS-E).

Its price is Rs 4.79 lakh. This is the company’s first microcar. This electric microcar has been launched in a new category of Personal Mobility Vehicle (PMV).

Available in multiple color options, the EAS-e PMV range has been launched in three variants keeping in mind the everyday usage of the car. This includes ranges of 120 km, 160 km and 200 km. The EAS-E gets a top speed of 70 kmph, which can accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph in under 5 seconds.

The EAS-E microcar weighs approximately 550 kg and can comfortably carry two people including a child. The micro car is 4G connected and offers different riding modes that can be accessed from the dashboard on the driver’s seat.

In terms of features, it gets EAS-E mode for feet-free driving, remote parking assist, cruise control, remote connectivity and diagnostics, Bluetooth connectivity, onboard navigation, access to music controls and call control on the connected smartphone. The EAS-E can be charged in 3-4 hours from any 15A outlet with the onboard charger.

Very soon the company will launch it in PMV), SUV, sedan and hatchback categories as well by starting production. Its booking starts at Rs 2000. It has received 6000+ pre-orders so far from India and International markets.

The startup is in talks with partners to set up their manufacturing unit in Pune that will assist in taking the vehicle into production. The company aims to start deliveries by mid-2023 and conduct test rides closer to the delivery.
