Suzuki Motorcycle India (SMIL) achieved record-breaking sales in May 2024, surpassing all previous monthly sales figures. The company sold 1,11,512 units, which shows a significant growth of 22 percent year-on-year compared to May 2023. Let’s know its details in detail.
SMIL has experienced a growth of 37 percent in May 2024 compared to the same period last year. They sold a total of 92,032 units in India. However, exports paint a different picture. SMIL exported 19,480 units in May 2024, which is lower than the 24,276 units exported in May 2023.
In April 2024, SMIL achieved domestic sales of 88,067 units, which was the best sales for the company at that time, indicating a growth of 31 percent year-on-year. However, export sales showed a similar result as in May. It was a decline of about 47 percent compared to April 2023.
