“They have nothing to be afraid of in Russia,” the Ministry of Digital Development wants to “remove the fears and fears” of IT specialists and return them to the country

Maksut Shadayev, head of the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia, said in an interview with TASS that the department is currently formulating the conditions for a program for the return of IT specialists to Russia, adding that “they have nothing to be afraid of.”

To the question of whether the details of such a program are being worked out now, Maksut Shadayev answered as follows:

We are trying to formulate what should be done additionally to remove the fears and fears of those who left. We are now looking, discussing what could give certain guarantees to those who left, what level of guarantees there can be.

Maksut Shadayev explained that in this situation there is no question of “economic conditions”. “They are [специалисты] must understand that they have nothing to fear in Russia.”

In early November, Maksut Shadayev announced that the Ministry of Digital Transformation was faced with the task of developing a program for the reverse relocation of IT specialists. The goal of the Ministry of Digital Development is to show that it is possible to work calmly in the Russian Federation.
