These top 6 cars to be launched in India this month

The new Q7, Baleno, Wagon R and Kia Cairns were launched in the Indian car market last month. Some new vehicles are also going to be launched this month which includes a lifestyle pickup, hatchback, two SUVs and an electric SUV. We have not included the Skoda Slavia launched this month and the new Mercedes S-Class Maybach in this list.

Toyota Hilux

  • Expected Price: Above Rs 30 lakh
  • Comparison with them: It will be the premium rival of Isuzu D-Max

In January, Toyota took the wraps off the Indian version of its lifestyle pickup , the Hilux . The company had also started booking this vehicle, but due to the high demand from the customers, the company has stopped booking for some time . The Hilux will be powered by the Fortuner’s 204PS 2.8L diesel engine. With the engine, it will get a choice of 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox. It will be an all-wheel-drive vehicle. It will get features like dual-zone climate control, 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, cruise control, seven airbags, electronic stability control and electronic differential lock.

Tata Ultras DCT

  • Expected Price: Starting from Rs 8.5 lakh
  • Comparison with: Maruti Baleno AMT, Hyundai i20 CVT and DCT, Honda Jazz CVT and Volkswagen Polo AT

Tata Motors is soon going to launch the Altroz ​​DCT in India. Its booking has already started while delivery can be found from mid-March. It will be mated to a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox with 86PS 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol engine. The DCT gearbox will be available from its mid-variant XT. Whose price can be about one lakh rupees more than the regular petrol-manual variant.

Toyota will launch its facelift Glanza on March 15 . It will see upgrades from the new Baleno which will include new styling, new features and updated powertrain. It is being speculated that the 2022 Glanza can be given a heads-up display, new 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 360-degree camera, six airbags and a new AMT gearbox. Its design may be slightly different from the new Baleno.

Lexus can launch the new generation NX hybrid SUV on March 9 . Its pre-launch bookings started in the second week of January itself. It will come in single variant NX350h. It will be powered by a 2.5-litre petrol engine and an electric motor. Its exterior and interior have been updated. Major updates to the interiors will include a new digital driver display and a larger touchscreen infotainment system.

Facelift BMW X4

The facelift BMW X4 will be launched this month . The coupe-style SUV will get upgrades from the recently launched updated X3. The exterior will get new LED headlights, sporty bumpers and connected kidney grille. The cabin, on the other hand, will get new upholstery, a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and electronically controlled dampers. The updated X4 will be offered with a choice of 252PS 2.0L petrol, 190PS 2.0L diesel and 265PS 3.0L diesel engines.
