3. Check all the parts of the bike
First of all, check the exterior of the bike and make sure that there are no scratches in it. Shake all the panels of the bike to see if any kind of sound is coming in it or if any part is not broken. Then look at its odometer readings to see how much the vehicle has been used for.
The best way to check this is to check the service history of the bike. Many service centers provide this information. Apart from this, you can also take feedback of the bike by showing it to a mechanic. Apart from this, by going to the service center with the owner of the bike, you can get any kind of mechanical fault checked in the bike.
4. Check Documents
Before buying a bike, check its documents thoroughly. Verify all the information related to the owner in the registration certificate. In this you can also know the number of old owners of the bike. Check the insurance document to see how long the existing insurance is. No claim bonus will be provided in case any previous claims have been made.
Also, be sure to check when the battery was last replaced, as it is generally considered appropriate to replace the battery every three years. If the vehicle is from out of state then ensure that it has valid NOC. Lastly, also check whether the two wheeler has a valid PUC certificate or not.
5. Make a deal to buy a bike
