Upcoming Cars: Many new SUV and MPV cars are going to be launched in the coming months in the Indian market. These include cars from companies like Mahindra, Nissan Maruti and Citroën. Let’s see the list of these cars and know what will be their specialty.

Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus

Mahindra is preparing to bring its Bolero Neo SUV in a new avatar. The name of this car will be Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus. This SUV will be launched in three variants like P4, P10 and P10 R. This car will be brought in 7 and 9-seater layout. Along with this, this vehicle will also come in an ambulance variant. The length of this vehicle will be around 4400 mm, width 1795 mm and height 1812 mm. It will get a 2.2L mHawk diesel engine, which will generate power of 94bhp in economy mode and 120bhp in power mode. It will get the option of both manual and automatic gearbox.

Nissan X-Trail

Nissan India is soon going to launch its 7-seater SUV X-Trail in India. The company is currently testing it. It will get 5 and 7-seater options. In the global market, this car comes with 1.5 liter turbo petrol mild hybrid and strong hybrid system. The SUV will get features such as Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), tri-zone climate control, an electric tailgate, 10.8-inch HUD, 360-degree camera, 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, electronic parking brake and LED headlamps.

Citroën C3 Aircross

Citroen is soon going to launch its C3 Aircross in the Indian market. It will get the option of petrol and electric powertrain with 5 and 7 seater layout. Its petrol version can be launched during the 2023 festive season. It may get a 1.2L, 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine which is capable of generating 110bhp power and 190Nm torque. This car will be based on the company’s C3 hatchback.

Maruti 7-Seater MPV

Maruti Suzuki will launch a new three row MPV based on the Toyota Innova Highcross in the country this year. Slight changes can be made in the design of the front grille, bumper and headlamps in this 7-seater MPV. This will be the first car from Maruti to come with Advanced Driver Assistance System. It will get the same 2.0L naturally aspirated petrol engine as the Innova Highcross which will generate 172bhp with petrol and 186bhp with the strong hybrid powertrain.
