These are the top 10 best selling cars in India in February

Car companies have released the sales report for February. Last month, Maruti dominated the list of top 10 best selling cars in the country. Maruti’s 7 vehicles were included in this list, while one each from Tata, Mahindra and Hyundai made its place in the list.

  • Swift was at number one in the list of best-selling cars in February . It sold more than 19200 units last month. This hatchback car is maintaining its place in the list of top 5 best selling cars every month.
  • The annual growth of Maruti Dzire has increased by about 50 percent. It was the second best selling vehicle last month with 17438 unit sales.
  • Maruti Wagon R was at number three in this list . Its sales have decreased by about 20 percent in February 2022 as compared to February 2021, while its demand has declined by 30 percent compared to January 2022.
  • Maruti Baleno ‘s monthly sales grew by 100 percent while its annual sales declined by 40 percent.
  • Tata Nexon was the fifth best selling car with 12259 unit sales. Its annual sales have almost doubled. It has remained Tata’s best selling car for the past few months.
  • Maruti Ertiga is at number six in this list. In February, Maruti sold 11649 units of Ertiga, which is about 20 percent more than in February 2021.
  • Annual sales of Maruti Alto have declined by about 30 percent. It sold about 5500 units less last month as compared to February 2021.
  • Mahindra Bolero is at number eight in the list . Its annual sales have declined by more than 120 per cent while monthly sales have declined by more than 200 per cent.
  • A Hyundai car Venue managed to make its position in this list. It sold more than 10,000 units last month.
  • Maruti Celerio is the lowest selling car in this list. It ranked at number ten. Its annual sales have grown by about 60 percent.
