The Hero HF 100 is currently the cheapest motorcycle in the segment in India, with an ex-showroom price of Rs 54,962. It also gets a 97cc engine with HF Deluxe, which produces 8hp power and 8.05Nm torque. But i3S stop-start technology is not seen in it. There is only one option of kick-starter in this.
Hero HF Deluxe
Hero HF Deluxe, one of the most popular two wheeler models in the 100cc segment, is priced between Rs.61,232 to Rs.68,382, ex-showroom. It gets a 97cc ‘sloper’ engine, which is equipped with Hero’s i3S stop-start technology. Kick starter is available in its lower variants and electric starter is available in upper variants.
TVS Sport
The ex-showroom price of TVS Sport ranges from Rs 61,500 to Rs 69,873. It gets a 109.7cc engine, which generates power of 8.3hp and torque of 8.7Nm. Both kick start and self start facility is available in it.
Honda Shine 100
The starting ex-showroom price of Honda Shine 100 is Rs 64,900. It is a simple style bike with features like auto choke system and side-stand engine cut-off. It is a motorcycle that gets OBD-2A compliant and E20 fuel supporting engine. It is powered by a 99.7cc engine, which produces 7.61hp power and 8.05Nm torque. An electric starter has also been given in it.
Bajaj Platina 100
The starting ex-showroom price of Bajaj Platina 100 is Rs.67,475. It uses a 102cc engine with Bajaj’s signature DTS-i technology. It is the only bike in the segment that does not get fuel-injection, instead it uses Bajaj’s e-carb. This engine produces 7.9hp power and 8.3Nm torque. In this, LED DRL is seen in the front.
