The number of electric vehicles in India is increasing year by year. Vehicle manufacturers are focusing on launching new electric vehicles. People are also increasingly adopting electric vehicles leaving their fascination with petrol-diesel vehicles. In such a situation, the biggest expo of 2023 is going to happen in January.
Indian automakers are taking part in this expo in a big way. Many electric cars of different brands are going to be launched in this expo. In such a situation, we are telling you about 5-electric cars to be launched in Auto Expo 2023.
1. Tata Altroz EV
The electric premium hatchback is expected to be launched at the Auto Expo 2023. Tata Altroz EV will be powered by the same engine as the already launched Nexon EV. Also, changes are expected in the battery pack and other features. The car will feature state-of-the-art connected car technology. The Tata Altoz EV price in India could be around Rs 12- 15 lakh, ex-showroom.
2. Citroën C3 EV
Citroën India recently released the teaser of its electric car C3 hatchback. Whose name has been told as ëC3. After its launch, it will be the company’s first electric vehicle and third model in India. The electric hatch will be done in mid-January 2023 and the launch will be in early February 2023. It is being said that it will be an affordable model of India. It can get a range of more than 350 km. Since the ICE C3 is priced between Rs 5.71 lakh to Rs 8.06 lakh (ex-showroom), the electric version of the compact hatchback could be priced around Rs 10 lakh, ex-showroom.

3. MG AirEV
MG Motor India is all set to launch the Air EV in the Indian market. The MG Air EV will be introduced in India on January 5, 2023 and will also be showcased at the Delhi Auto Expo. Coming to the MG Air, it is a 2-door, 4-seater vehicle. It can get 300 km range with a big battery pack. Whereas the price can be up to Rs 8-10 lakh (ex-showroom).
4. MG 4 EV
The list also includes another MG EV, the MG 4 EV, which is the company’s first electric hatchback offering a range of 452 km on a single charge. It will get two battery options, including a 51kWh and a larger 64kWh battery pack. MG claims a range of up to 350km on the smaller battery pack while the larger one will get a range of 452km.
5.Hyundai Kona Facelift
Launched in July 2019, the Hyundai Kona Electric was Hyundai’s first electric car in India. Globally, the Hyundai Kona Electric was updated in 2020. The Hyundai Kona gets two battery options. It gets 304km range with 39.2kWh battery and 136hp motor. At the same time, a range of 483km is available with 64kWh battery and 204hp motor. The electric SUV is expected to be priced around Rs 24-26 lakh, ex-showroom.
