The app has been installed by 20 million users. However, now these apps have been removed.

McAfee had identified this app and Google took it seriously and immediately removed it from the Play Store. These were included on the Play Store as utility apps and they gave users the option to search QR codes. There were apps like device’s flash to torch, measurement converter which were misusing the users’ device. After warnings from the security firm, Google has removed them from the Play Store.

Removed apps include BusanBus, Joycode, Currency Converter, High-Speed ​​Camera, Smart Task Manager, Flashlight+, K-Dictionary, Quick Note, EzDica, Instagram Profile Downloader and Ez Notes. McAfee found that once opened, these apps download the code.

Along with this, these apps were also opening the web page directly without giving any warning to the users. Along with this, direct advertisements were also opened without clicking. Due to this, users started spending more time on ads. This is a type of ad fraud. This is the reason why Google immediately took action on such apps and they have been removed from the Play Store forever. If you have these apps in your phone then you should delete them.
