1. Komaki Ranger
The Komaki Ranger is India’s first cruiser-designed e-bike. It gets a 3.6kWh battery which Komaki claims is enough for a range of 220km. This bike has a 4kW BLDC motor which gives it a top speed of 80kph. The exhaust system along with LED lights on the speakers to generate artificial sound gives a distinct look to the Komaki Ranger.
2. Oben Electric Roar
Oben Ror is one of the most affordable offerings on this list, and yet boasts of the biggest range here. A large battery pack of 4.4kWh has been used in this bike. This bike gives a range of 200km on a single charge. However, as per actual data its range has been recorded up to 150km. The Rorr has three riding modes – Havoc, City and Eco. It has an anti-theft system and all-LED lighting setup. As of now, Rorr is available only in states like Maharashtra, Delhi, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Telangana.
3. Ola Electric S1 Pro
Ola S1 Pro is one of the most talked about scooters in the market. It is powered by an 8.5kW motor that gives it a top speed of 115kph. It is powered by a 4kWh battery that can be driven up to 181km (ARAI certified range) on a single charge. It is said that in real condition, the Ola S1 Pro can run up to 102 km in Sport mode and 127 km in Normal mode on a single charge.
4. Torque Kratos
Torque Motors has recently commenced deliveries of its e-bikes, Kratos and Kratos R, and both offer the same range of 180 km under test conditions in the Indian Driving Cycle (IDC). The Kratos R has a slightly higher performance and offers a few more features at a premium of Rs 15,000. Both the e-bikes have a 4kWh battery and use an axial flux motor. The Kratos R gets a peak torque output of 38Nm and a top speed of 105kph while the Kratos has a claimed torque of 28Nm and a top speed of 100kph. The Tork e-Bike is available only in Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai and Delhi.
5. Odyssey Hawk Plus
The Odyssey Hawk Plus is powered by a removable 2.88kWh lithium-ion battery that gives it a range of 170 km. Its modest 1.8kW motor gives it a top speed of just 45kph but it has a decent features list. Adjustable brake levers, cruise control, Bluetooth connectivity and a music system are standard on the Hawk Plus. The Hawk Plus color options include Black, Grey, Red, White and Blue.
6. Revolt RV 400
Revolt RV 400 is one of the first electric motorcycles and the company has been selling it well for many years. The RV 400 is powered by a 3.25kWh battery pack, which gives it a range of 150 kms in Eco mode. In Sport mode, this bike can achieve a top speed of 85kph. Speakers have also been installed in the bike, due to which many types of bike sounds come out.
7. Ather 450X Generation 3
The Ather 450X has been one of the best e-scooters in the market for the past few years, but it recently got a bit of a boost in the form of a bigger battery pack. The range has been extended in its third generation model. Now the Ather 450X can deliver a proven range of 146 km on a single charge. At the same time, its range in real conditions is 105 km. The Ather 450X has five riding modes – Warp, Sport, Ride, Eco and Smart Eco.
8. Ola S1
The Ola S1 is more affordable than the S1 Pro that was launched earlier in this list. A lot of the Ola S1’s hardware is very similar to the S1 Pro, but there are some key differences as well. Compared to the larger 4kWh battery pack on the S1 Pro, the S1 gets a smaller 3kWh battery, giving it an ARAI-certified range of 141km. However, its range in real conditions is less than 128 km.
9. Hero Electric Optima CX (Double Battery)
Hero Electric Optima CX is one of the best selling electric scooters today. Hero Electric claims a range of 140 km in the Optima CX. A battery pack of 1.53kWh capacity has been used in this. This scooter can be run at a top speed of 45kph. The scooter has a 1.2kW motor with a lithium-ion battery.
10. Okinawa iPrase Plus
The Okinawa iPraise+ uses a 3.3kWh lithium-ion battery that allows it to achieve a range of 139 km on a single charge. It uses a 2.5kW motor which gives it a top speed of 58kph. The iPraz Plus gets features like side-stand cut-off, USB charger and adjustable brake lever.
