There may be problems with the official repair of Xiaomi Mi 8, Mi 9 Explorer and Redmi K20 Pro. Xiaomi has stopped after-sales service for these models

As of today, Xiaomi has stopped after-sales service for several of its phones released in 2018 and 2019. We are talking about Xiaomi Mi 8, Mi 9 SE, Mi 9 Explorer, Mi 9, Redmi K20 Pro and Redmi K20 Pro Premium. The company no longer produces spare parts for them, and the official service may refuse to repair.

At the same time, in a company service, if necessary, they will be able to test the phone and diagnose a possible problem, as well as clean it. A full repair can be carried out by third-party services.

Xiaomi has also excluded the Redmi K20 Pro and Redmi K20 Pro Premium from its battery replacement program. Apparently, for the same reason: batteries for these phones are no longer produced.
