Shut Down Background Apps and Processes First
There are times when you finish your work but forget to close the apps running in the background. After which when you shut down the system, Windows takes a long time to close the background apps. If you close all apps before Shut Down, Windows will not get stuck on the Shut Down screen.
If you are stuck on the shutdown screen and nothing is working, you can do Force Shutdown. Press the Power button for a few seconds until the system shuts down on its own. Use this method only when you have no other way.
Make sure you have the latest Windows 10 -11 Version
It is always a good idea to have a new Windows 10 or 11 version. Microsoft is always sending out new updates and fixes for common problems through this. So we can always start solving our problem by checking for updates. If your system is running on old Windows, then update it soon and use the new Windows version.
Disable Apps and Processes
When you want to shut down your computer, there are some apps and processes that cannot be closed easily. This could be the cause of your shutdown problems. So you can control them and disable every app that you don’t really need on startup. This will increase your startup speed as well as its shutdown speed.
