The wrinkles on the forehead turned out to be a sign of premature death

As part of the study, specialists recruited about 3200 volunteers aged 32 to 62 years. They were monitored for about 20 years. During the entire period of work, 233 participants died.

It is reported that each participant in the experiment was assigned a score from zero to three – the lower the score, the less wrinkles a person has. As a result of statistical analysis, it was found that people with forehead wrinkles had a higher risk of premature death than those who did not have them at all. As it turned out, there were 10 times more participants who died early, having two or three points, than volunteers with 0 points.

According to scientists, this is due to the fact that deep wrinkles indicate cardiovascular diseases.
