The Russian army received aerosols to protect weapons from heat-seeking projectiles

Aerosols are designed to protect heavy flame-throwing systems TOS-2, mobile reconnaissance stations PRP-4A and PRP-5A, MLRS “Uragan-1M” and other types of weapons. Shooting aerosols ensures the creation of a curtain of combined interference, as a result of which the contact of the attacking projectile with the target is disrupted.

The ammunition was transferred to the troops ahead of schedule. Rostec announced that the production of such aerosols had begun in September.
