Today, on March 28, 2024, official sales of the first Xiaomi car, SU7, commenced in China. The all-electric sedan is available in several variants and is already open for pre-order at 59 stores in 29 cities across the country.
At the onset of sales, Xiaomi SU7 will be offered in two versions, with Xiaomi SU7 Pro set to be released by the end of May:
- The Basic version: features rear-wheel drive, accelerates to 100 km/h in 5.28 seconds, with a top speed of 210 km/h. 15 minutes of charging provide a range of 350 km, with an overall range of about 700 km. Equipped with Xiaomi Pilot Pro autopilot.
- SU7 Pro: also featuring rear-wheel drive, accelerates to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds, with a top speed of 210 km/h. Offers a range of 830 km, with 15 minutes of charging providing a range of 570 km. Includes Xiaomi Pilot Max autopilot.
- Max version: boasts all-wheel drive, accelerates to 100 km/h in 2.78 seconds, with a top speed of 264 km/h. Offers a range of up to 800 kilometers, with 15 minutes of charging providing 510 km of travel. Equipped with Xiaomi Pilot Max autopilot.
The car operates on the proprietary HyperOS operating system, deeply integrated with other Xiaomi devices, and supports Apple AirPlay and CarPlay for iPhone users. It features a 7.1-inch digital instrument panel and a 16.1-inch multimedia touchscreen display. Sound is delivered through a 15-speaker audio system with Dolby Atmos support.
The price of the Xiaomi SU7 starts at $30,000 for the basic version, while the SU7 Pro costs $34,000, and the advanced Max package is priced at $41,000.
