The price of edible oil, mustard and groundnut oil became cheaper, check the rate of 1 liter

Mustard and groundnut oil has become cheaper after today’s business. At the same time, the prices of CPO, Palmolein and Soyabean oil have seen a rise.

Growth in foreign markets
According to information received from sources, the Chicago Exchange was up 1.8 percent while the Malaysia Exchange has gained three percent. He said that indigenous oils are far cheaper than imported oils. Mustard oil sits at wholesale price of Rs 148 a kg and its retail price is maximum Rs 155-160 per liter.

Groundnut oil is cheaper by 30-40 rupees
Sources said that domestic oil is cheaper by Rs 12-13 per kg as compared to imported oils. At the same time, groundnut oil is cheaper by Rs 30-40 than sunflower, so the government should focus on the maximum retail price. Apart from this, the focus should be on making available edible oil to the consumers at the right price.

He said that after the record production of mustard, a huge amount of 16 lakh tonnes has been crushed last month. Farmers have proved that they have the potential to increase production if they continue to get the right incentives. Soybean oil and CPO and Palmolein oil prices improved on the back of gains in Malaysia and Chicago Exchange. Soyabean grain and loose prices remained at the previous level.
