The number of vaccines made for COVID-19 has exceeded the world’s population

According to our colleagues, 8.95 billion coronavirus vaccines have been made worldwide to date. For comparison, the world’s population is about 7.7 billion people. At the same time, the daily number of vaccinations is at the level of 43 – 43.5 million doses.

It is reported that if the current pace is maintained, in 7 months 75% of the world’s inhabitants will receive at least one dose of the vaccine. By the way, this figure has already been achieved in 38 countries.

The journalists also noted that vaccination is taking place unevenly in the world. For example, in those high-income countries, the process is 10 times faster than in low-income countries.

Among the countries where the indicators are predominantly high are China, the USA, France, and Germany.
