The new Suzuki SX4 crossover, which was introduced in Europe at the end of last year under the name S-Crosspassed certification in Russia and received the Vehicle Type Approval (OTTS).
In Russia, the car may come out under the double name Suzuki SX4 S-Cross, which is mentioned in the OTTS. The car is equipped with a 1.4-liter turbocharged Boosterjet engine, which has a power of 140 hp. and 220 Nm of torque. The engine works only with 95-m gasoline and is combined with either a manual or automatic transmission, and the drive can be either front or all-wheel drive.
The dimensions of the “Russian” crossover are identical to the European ones: 4300 mm long, 1785 mm wide and 1580 mm high with a wheelbase of 2600 mm. The only difference is that we have also certified the “stretched” SX4, which is 25mm longer than the regular one.
The Russian version will receive 16- and 17-inch wheels, climate control, electric and heated side mirrors, heated front seats, ESP, front and side airbags, a driver’s knee airbag, curtain airbags and a multimedia system with pre-installed navigation.
In Russia, the previous generation crossover is still being sold at a price of 2,069,000 rubles.
