Skoda Slavia comes second in terms of tall size, as its length is kept at 4,541 mm. Talking about the most compact size, the Hyundai Verna has a length of 4,440 mm. In terms of height, all the sedans are almost identical though there is a difference of few mm.

The company will launch the new Skoda Slavia with two engine options. It will be powered by a 1.0-litre TSI turbo petrol engine that produces 115 bhp and 178 Nm of torque. With this, the company will give the option of 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox. Apart from this, another 1.5-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine has been given in it.
This engine provides 150 bhp power and 250 newton meter torque. With this engine, the company is going to offer the option of 6-speed manual and 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox. The Honda City petrol engine comes with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated.
Its engine provides 119 bhp power and 145 newton meter torque. This engine is mated to a 6-speed manual or CVT gearbox. The Hyundai Verna is available with a choice of 1.5 liter naturally aspirated petrol and 1.0 liter turbo petrol engine.
Both the engines make 113 bhp power/144 newton meter torque and 118 bhp power/171 newton meter torque respectively. Talking about the gearbox options, it is given the option of 6-speed manual/CVT and 7-speed DCT gearbox respectively.
Apart from this, talking about Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, only 1.5 liter naturally aspirated petrol engine is used in this car, which provides power of 103 bhp and torque of 138 Newton meter. This engine is mated to a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic.

At launch, Skoda Auto has only revealed the prices of the Skoda Slavia 1.0-litre variant. The company has launched this engine variant between Rs 10.69 lakh and Rs 15.39 lakh (ex-showroom). The most affordable premium sedan in this segment remains the Maruti Ciaz.
The company is selling this car between Rs 8.87 lakh to Rs 11.86 lakh (ex-showroom). The second most affordable premium sedan in terms of starting price is the Hyundai Verna. Its price range is Rs 9.32 lakh to Rs 15.36 lakh. At the same time, the price of Honda City ranges from Rs 11.23 lakh to Rs 15.18 lakh.
