At the Army-2022 forum, the Shvabe holding is preparing to present two of its new products based on the Lada Niva Legend. They will be shown in Kubinka near Moscow from 15 to 21 August. The first car will be an ambulance minivan with a color-graphic inscription “Medical service”. The second is an all-wheel drive ambulance.
“The key exhibits in the civilian direction will be the nine-seat minivan “Medical Service” Lada Niva KUB NN and the all-wheel drive ambulance Lada Niva Prima NN. They will be presented by the holding’s subsidiaries Shvabe-SpetsAvto and Shvabe-Moscow“, – said Sergey Dmitrochenko, deputy general director of Shvabe.
It is alleged that the nine-seat version will receive a naturally aspirated engine with a capacity of 109 hp. with., on the rear axle there is a spring suspension and adjustable air springs. The length and height of the body are 4.9 and 2.08 m, respectively
The ambulance, on the other hand, will receive a wheelbase 3050 mm long and an isolated driver’s cabin, which will allow transporting a medical team and patients – up to 5 people in total. There is also a high ground clearance and a more powerful engine.
So far, AvtoVAZ has only mass-produced the three-door Lada Niva Legend 1, which lacks components. Prices start at 647,600 rubles for a state preferential car loan. Without it, the price starts from 796,500 rubles.
