The mobile high-performance processor Intel Core i5-13600HX was first lit up on the Web. It will be the successor to the Core i5-12600HX, but it will have more cores.
If the current generation CPU has 4 large cores and 8 small cores, then the Core i5-13600HX will already have 6 large and 8 small cores, which should make it noticeably more productive. No other data yet, but based on what we know about Raptor Lake desktop CPUs, the Core i5-13600HX could also get a nice increase in frequencies, although all this will come at the expense of increased power consumption.
Raptor Lake mobiles are expected early next year. Whether Intel will have processors with more than 16 cores in this segment is not yet clear.
