HUAWEI announced the launch of a new version of the MateBook 14 laptop. The model received the Non-Touchscreen Edition prefix: as you might guess from the name, the device was deprived of a touch screen. Also, unlike the MateBook 14 of 2022, the filling of the device has changed, while the price of the laptop has decreased.
The novelty is equipped with a 14-inch panel with a resolution of 2160×1440 pixels, has a 100 percent sRGB color gamut and an aspect ratio of 3:2. The device is powered by an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor paired with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. The battery has a capacity of 56Wh and supports 65W fast charging (Type USB-C power adapter included).
To connect peripherals, there is one Type USB-C port, two USB 3.2 Gen1 connectors and a 3.5 mm audio jack. There are two colors to choose from – silver and grey. The laptop will run Microsoft Windows 11 out of the box.
The HUAWEI MateBook 14 Non-Touchscreen Edition is now available for pre-order in the Chinese market for $847. The official start of sales in China is scheduled for April 17.
