The new CPUs have allowed Intel to gain market share, but AMD is still far ahead. Fresh Mindfactory Statistics Appeared

Intel Alder Lake processors are already available for sale, albeit in a very limited range. Despite this, their entry to the market had a very strong impact on the sales statistics of the largest German store Mindfactory.

As you can see, Intel has won a share of the market from AMD. The former accounts for 30%, and this is the largest figure for the entire year. Yes, AMD still has more than double the share, but Intel hasn’t climbed above 25% for the entire year.

If you look at the best-selling CPUs, then the best Intel processor is only seventh in the list of leaders. This is the Core i7-12700K, of which the store sold 880 units in November. For comparison, the leader Ryzen 7 5800X sold 4,820 units, and even the Ryzen 5 3600 beat Intel newcomer. It is worthwhile to separately emphasize that it was the Ryzen 7 5800X that became the leader, while the Ryzen 5 5600X was the leader for most of the year.

It can also be noted that the old Ryzen 5 1600 is still selling well. It lagged behind the Core i9-12900K by only one position.
