AMD motherboards based on the A620 chipset will be cheaper than previously thought. Some European online retailers have already added matching products to their ranges, and they cost well under $125.
AMD itself has previously said that $125 is a benchmark starting price for cheap AM5 platform boards. However, in the time that has passed since the launch of the platform, some boards based on the mid-budget B650 chipset have fallen in price to this mark. Now we see that the lower limit can be significantly lower than even 100 USD/EUR. At least the MSI A620M-E is priced at 88 euros.
The boards themselves are not yet available, and it is not yet known when sales will start. But obviously in the near future, because we have already seen and photos of such devices. Recall that the A620 chipset does not support PCIe 5.0 and overclocking of Ryzen 7000 processors.
