Krafton has officially announced that PUBG: Battlegrounds has today switched to shareware free-to-play (F2P) on PC and consoles. At the same time, Update 15.2 was released, which introduces tactical gear, new tutorial modes, an action queue function and much more.
With the transition of the game to a shareware model, the game has an optional update to the Battlegrounds Plus premium account, which allows players to access many new and exclusive in-game features. The basic account offers most of the basic features, but for $ 13 you can buy Battlegrounds Plus and get:
- Bonus 1300 G-COIN
- Experience for Survival Mastery + 100% boost
- Career – Medals Tab
- Ranked Mode
- Custom matches
- In-game items, including the Captain’s Camouflage Set, which includes a beanie, camouflage mask, and gloves
Players who purchased and played PUBG: Battlegrounds prior to the free upgrade will receive the PUBG – Special Commemorate Pack, which will include an automatic account upgrade to Battlegrounds Plus, the Hardened Veteran skin pack, Shackle and Shanks pan, and the Hardened veteran”.
