The long-range model of Tata Nexon EV will get ventilated seats, many new features

For safety, an electronic stability program can be found in it. Yes, the production of three lakh units of Nexon has been completed recently and on this occasion the company has added air purifier, ventilated seat, auto dimming mirror to it. Along with this, the Nexon has been brought with the Royal Blue color option, the deliveries of which have also started. In such a situation, these features can also be given in its electric version.

The company has been updating most of its models for some time now and now the number of Nexon EV has also come in it. It currently comes with a 30.2 kWh battery pack and claims a range of 312 km. Now Tata Motors is going to bring it 40 kWh battery pack and the company can claim 400 km range.

The bigger battery is going to give more space, due to which the company has redesigned the floor and boot. The weight is also going to increase due to the bigger battery, this 40 kWh battery is going to be 100 kg heavier. With more range, this model is going to compete with the Hyundai Kona and MG ZS EV. The Nexon EV will come with a selectable regeneration mode and will help the driver choose the intensity of regenerative braking.

Along with this, slight changes in the design and new alloy wheels can be seen. The company can sell both the models together. The price of the new model could be Rs 3-4 lakh more than the current model. The company has drawn up a three-platform strategy that will form the basis of the company’s model line-up for the next decade.

Along with this, slight changes in the design and new alloy wheels can be seen. The company can sell both the models together. The price of the new model could be Rs 3-4 lakh more than the current model. The company has drawn up a three-platform strategy that will form the basis of the company’s model line-up for the next decade.

These platforms, which will include a converted ICE (internal combustion) engine platform, a bespoke EV platform and eventually, a skateboard, will be launched in three separate phases, but work on them has begun in parallel. The first phase of Tata’s EV strategy began long before TPEML was formed with the Nexon EV.

Instead of developing a revolutionary new EV, which can take years and customers may not be ready for it, Tata Motors has taken the quick and easy route of pure conversion of an IC engine car into an EV. The Tata Nexon’s X1 platform was barely modified and the electric motor and battery pack were simply fitted with whatever space was available.

Tata Motors is going to bring Nexon EV in the Indian market with more range, the company can announce its booking and launch date in the coming days. Now it has to be seen how much its price increases.
