Ministry of Corporate Affairs Action on Chinese Firms: The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has achieved a major success in the case of crackdown on many Chinese shell companies operating in the country. The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has arrested the main accused of these fake Chinese companies. If MCA has taken action against those people, they used to supply fake directors to these Chinese companies. The name of this mastermind is Dorsey.
The MCA raided the Gurugram office of a company named Jillian Consultants India Private Limited on 8 September 2022, which also has an office in Hong Kong. Apart from this, the agency also raided the MCA Fininty Private Limited Bangalore (Bengaluru) and Husys Consultants Limited’s Hyderabad (Hyderabad) office.
Money of the country was sent out through fake companies
According to the MCA, the accused named Dorsey had given his address as that of Mandi in Himachal Pradesh. About 25 to 30 officers were involved in this raid. In the month of April, about 700 cases have been registered against this Chinese shell company in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs across the country. Many people have also been arrested after the raid. These people are accused that they have sent the country’s money out of India wrongly by forming shell companies in the country. After this action of three consecutive days, the accused can be arrested from Bodh Gaya in Bihar.
The accused was preparing to leave the country
After taking action on this matter, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs has informed in a press release that apart from Dorsey, a resident of Himachal Pradesh, a Chinese citizen is the main accused in this case. Dorsey was preparing to leave the country via Bodh Gaya in Bihar. Dorsey was in the process of leaving the country since the operation of raids in hundreds of Chinese shell companies and their offices in many cities including Delhi, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Bangalore. For this, he reached from Delhi via Bihar Road and after that he was trying to escape from the country, but before that the MCA team arrested the accused.
