The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti graphics card went on sale today, and so far the situation with availability and prices is very good.
Recall that the recommended price for new items in the United States, excluding taxes, is $ 800. What the value is for Europe is not clear, but it is always higher there, at least because taxes are already accounted for.
So, for now, BestBuy is offering the RTX 4070 Ti for at least $830. On NewEgg, the minimum price is $840, on Amazon for some reason there are only offers with a price of $1300, and this is the RTX 4080.
Surprisingly, in Europe the situation seems to be even better. There are many more offers, and they already start from 900 euros. That is, the prices are approximately the same as American prices, if you add tax to the latter. At the same time, just a few hours ago, the minimum price was 1140 euros, and there were only a few offers.
Thus, right now the RTX 4070 Ti is one of the best products for the money. If we compare it with Nvidia cards, then about the same $ 800 and 900 euros are asked for the RTX 3080, while new faster, more economical and supports DLSS 3. True, if in 2K the RTX 4070 Ti is faster than the RTX 3080 by about 20%, then in 4K it is already only 16%. If we compare Nvidia’s new card with AMD cards, then around 900 euros in Europe are asking for the Radeon RX 6950 XT, which is roughly comparable to the RTX 4070 Ti, but consumes more power and performs worse with ray tracing. More recent Radeon RX 7900XT at 4K, it’s about 10% faster than Nvidia’s latest, but about the same amount more expensive.
