An interesting astronomical event will take place tomorrow – the first solar eclipse of 2022. This was reported by the press service of the Moscow Planetarium.
So, on April 30, 2022, a partial eclipse of the Sun will occur – from 21:47 to 01:37 Moscow time with a maximum phase of 0.64 at 23:41 Moscow time.
Unfortunately, this eclipse will not be visible in Russia. It will be observed only from South America (southwest) and Antarctica, as well as in the waters of the Pacific and Atlantic oceans.
The partial eclipse of the Sun will begin on April 30 at 21:45 at sunrise off the Antarctic Pacific coast, and will end on May 1 at 01:38 at sunset in the eastern Pacific off the coast of Chile.
