The Moto Edge X30 is the world’s first smartphone to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. According to multiple reports, it will be called the Edge 30 Pro in the global market.
The source has posted several computer-generated images of the device that show that the Moto Edge 30 Pro will be different from the Moto Edge 30. For example, the fingerprint scanner has moved under the display. The logo on the back has also changed.
These renders of the Moto Edge 30 Pro also showcase a punch-hole selfie camera, meaning the Moto X30 Special Edition with an under-screen selfie camera could remain exclusive to China. Since the specs of the device are expected to remain the same, there is an easy way to distinguish between the Chinese and the global versions, which is the Moto logo. In the global version of the smartphone, it is located in the lower left corner.
In addition to the Snapdragon 8 Gen single-chip system, the smartphone is equipped with a 6.7-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz, two 50-megapixel main cameras and a 60-megapixel selfie camera.
The 5000 mAh battery supports 68W fast charging, while its predecessor Moto Edge 20 Pro only supports 30W charging.
