The first smartphone with support for tri-band Wi-Fi – Huawei Mate Xs 2 – noticeably fell in price in China

Huawei has officially announced that in honor of the holidays, it is reducing the price of Huawei Mate Xs 2 to $1289 in China. At launch, the smartphone cost over $1,500.

Recall that Huawei Mate 50 became the world’s first mass-produced smartphone with support for Beidou satellite communications. In October, Huawei confirmed that the Huawei Mate Xs 2 will also support this feature. The corresponding update was released in November. Huawei Mate Xs 2 is the world’s first satellite-enabled smartphone.

In addition to the fact that Huawei Mate Xs 2 is also the first mobile phone to support tri-band Wi-Fi, the theoretical peak speed reaches 4Gbps.

Huawei Mate Xs 2 is already the fifth flagship Huawei foldable screen, which received a 7.8-inch screen with a resolution of 2480 x 2200 pixels and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 4G single-chip system.
