The project, called “Constellation”, involves the deployment of a full-fledged satellite constellation, which will take on the task of demonstrating “space advertising”. For this, the devices will be equipped with a special laser system for transmitting visual and digital information.
According to representatives of Avant Space, the approximate coverage of such advertising will be more than 1 billion people. At the same time, residents of more than 130 largest cities on the planet will be able to see it.
The launch of the first satellite is scheduled for 2022. At the same time, it is planned to start displaying advertising in the night sky using satellites in Earth orbit, the Russian startup said.
