Chery launches Tiggo 8 series hybrid crossover with unique DHT hybrid transmission in overseas markets. In Russia, the first hybrid from Chery will be presented next year. Brazil is the first country outside of China to launch the Tiggo 8 Pro e+.
Chery Tiggo 8 Pro e + received a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine and two electric motors, as well as a three-speed DHT transmission, which allows you to use the engine and electric motors independently of each other.
Chery’s DHT has nine modes of operation, including single/dual motor drive, range extension, parallel drive, direct drive, single/dual motor power recovery, charging while driving, and more.
The range on pure electricity is 100 km, and fuel consumption in the combined cycle is 1 liter per 100 km. Chery Tiggo 8 Pro e+ accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7 seconds.
The new Chery 4.0 architecture that the company is implementing includes various forms of energy such as fuel, hybrid, clean electric and hydrogen energy.
