Xiaomi Founder, Chairman and CEO Lei Jun said this morning that a press conference will be held on August 11 to introduce the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 foldable smartphone.
It is expected that the diagonal of the internal screen will be 8 inches. The screen resolution will be 2.5K, the maximum refresh rate will be 120 Hz. This screen is made using LTPO technology, that is, it will be able to support intelligent refresh rate adjustment.
The diagonal of the external screen will be 6.5 inches and will support a smart refresh rate. Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 will be equipped with the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 single-chip system.
In addition, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 folding screen phone will be equipped with a Leica camera, like the Xiaomi 12S series, that is, it will receive a special lens, proprietary filters, classic Leica shutter sound, Leica watermark and so on.
The Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 will reportedly use the Xiaomi-developed Surging C1 professional image processing chip.
As we already reported, a whole scattering of foldable smartphones comes out in August: Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4/Flip 4, Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 and Vivo X Fold 2.
