Google introduced the first beta version of its new mobile OS – Android 13. Before that, the company released two versions of Android 13 exclusively for developers (Respectively, Developer Preview 1 and 2), but the beta version can be installed on user devices – Google Pixel smartphones 4/4 XL, Pixel 4a, Pixel 4a 5G, Pixel 5, Pixel 5a, Pixel 6/6 Pro. True, for this you need to be a member of the proprietary beta testing program.
After the first beta, there will be four more before the final version of the OS appears in August or September. More details about Android 13 are expected at the Google I/O event, which kicks off in the US on May 11th. The first mass-produced smartphones with Android 13 pre-installed will be the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, which will be released in the fall.
