According to official information, smartphones of the new series will receive a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and the same 50 megapixel main camera as the previously presented vivo X100. Also announced is “the most powerful periscope among clamshells” and the vivo V3 ISP chip.

Example photographs show some of the camera characteristics – aperture f/1.68 for the main module and f/2.57 for the “periscope” with 10x zoom and EGF 234 mm. The image of an ant also demonstrates the capabilities of macro photography with a telephoto lens, and winter footage was shot in Antarctica while testing a smartphone for frost resistance.

In addition, the vice president of vivo said that the size of the internal display of the smartphone (matrix Samsung E7), which has passed SGS certification for resistance to drops, will be 8.03 inches. The resource of the matrix and hinge is 300,000 cycles. Finally, the body protection according to the IPX8 standard, “powerful” artificial intelligence and the ability to work as a virtual second monitor for macOS and Windows are announced. The release date of the smartphone has not yet been announced.
