PMV says that the company can launch this electric car at a price of Rs 4-5 lakh. According to the company, the prototype of this car has been prepared and the company is working on its production model. The company has designed this car for city ride. In the cities, the car will target college going students and professionals.
The company had earlier shared some details of the car, according to which it will measure 2,915 mm in length, 1,157 mm in width and 1,600 mm in height. Its wheelbase will be 2,087 mm, while the ground clearance will be 170 mm. This electric car is going to be very light. Its weight will be around 550 kg.
How much range will you get?
The company can launch this car in three variants. Different ranges are expected to be available in each variant. It is being said in some reports that its range can be between 120 to 200 kilometers. PMV says that the battery of this car will be charged from 0 to 100 percent in just 4 hours. The company can provide such a charger of 3 KW with this car.
Apart from this, the company has given features like digital infotainment system, air conditioning, remote keyless entry, remote locking, remote park assist, cruise control, seat belt and USB charging port in this car. The PMV Easy will be a compact yet tall boy design electric car. According to the pictures of the model released by the company, the circular LED headlamp in this car, while the LED backlight has been installed in the horizontal strip on the tail gate. The company can launch this car in a four door model. However, the company has not yet shared the pictures of its production model.
The car will also be exported
Kalpit Patel, founder, PMV Electric, says that this micro electric car will be sold across India from the first day of launch, but will initially be sold on a D2C (direct-to-consumer) business model. He aims to sell 15,000 units of cars annually. It will be manufactured at the company’s Chakan (Maharashtra) plant and there are plans to export it.
If we talk about the price, there is no other electric car available in the competition of PMV Easy in India.
