The mid-size hybrid SUV has received over 1.20 lakh bookings so far. The company has delivered over 32,000 units of the Grand Vitara till January 2023. The company has sold 4,769 units in September 2022, 8,052 units in October 2022, 4,433 units in November 2022, 6,171 units in December 2022 and 8,662 units in January 2023. Currently, there is a long waiting period on it.
According to media reports, it has been informed by Maruti Suzuki that Grand Vitara has received 1,22,437 bookings so far (till February 22, 2023) and a total of 32,087 units have been delivered till January this year. It was told by the company that currently the pending orders are of 90,350 units. The waiting period for the Maruti Grand Vitara ranges from two months to nine months, depending on the variant chosen and the location of the dealership.
Significantly, the price of Maruti Grand Vitara is between Rs 10.45 lakh to Rs 19.65 lakh (ex-showroom). In this, apart from strong hybrid powertrain and mild hybrid powertrain, the option of CNG kit is also available. This is a 5 seater car. Its 1.5-litre petrol mild-hybrid setup generates 103PS power, 1.5-litre petrol strong-hybrid setup 116PS power and 1.5-litre petrol-CNG setup generates 87.83 PS power. It can offer mileage of up to 26.6 kmpl on CNG and 27.97 kmpl on petrol in Strong-Hybrid.
