The Avtovzglyad publication revealed the cost of the Lada Vesta NG, a car that almost the entire country is waiting for. The price was announced at a meeting of the Russian Automobile Dealers Association. As AvtoVzglyad writes, AvtoVAZ has already sent dealers recommended retail prices for Vesta, but so far only the initial price has been reported – it is 1.7 million rubles.
On the one hand, by today’s standards, it is not expensive (and, according to Avtovzglyad, cheaper than expected), but on the other hand, we are talking about the simplest version with a 90-horsepower engine and a 5-speed manual gearbox. The rest of the options will be more expensive, and the cost of the maximum configuration of Techno can come close to the mark of 2 million rubles or even break through it. At first, only 8-valve 90-horsepower Vesta will be sold, mass production of 16-valve 106-horsepower will begin in May.
Obviously, the 16-valve version will be even more expensive (for example, a Granta with a 16-valve engine is 65 thousand more expensive than a Granta with an 8-valve engine), and, judging by Moskvich 3, about the same 60 thousand will have to be paid extra for variator – two-pedal Vesta will go on sale next year.
Recall that today photos of promotional materials dedicated to Vesta NG leaked to the Web. They reveal all the innovations of the model and equipment of the top version Techno.
