Maruti Suzuki recently quietly launched the 2022 model of the customers’ favorite affordable hatchback WagonR with a starting price of Rs 5.39 lakh. Now the company is preparing to launch the CNG variant of this car, whose mileage is going to be strong.
New Delhi : Maruti Suzuki has finally launched the 2022 WagonR in India after a long wait and the ex-showroom price of the facelift model starts at Rs 5.39 lakh. This price goes up to Rs 7.10 lakh for the top model. The company has also launched the CNG variant of this car, whose ex-showroom price is Rs 6.81 lakh. This economical can not only be brought home by buying it but it can also be taken on rent. The company has also made the New WagonR Facelift available on subscription and customers can bring the car home without buying it by paying a monthly rent of Rs 12,000. Now the company is going to bring the CNG variant of this affordable hatchback in the market very soon, after which it will be very cheap for the customers to run it.
Petrol and CNG options available
With the 2022 WagonR, Maruti Suzuki has made available both petrol and CNG options. The first of these is the 1.0-litre K-series dual-jet engine that makes 65.7 Bhp of power and 89 Nm of peak torque. Its CNG variant makes 56 Bhp power and 82 Nm peak torque. At number two comes the 1.2-litre Dual VVT engine making 88.5 Bhp power and 113 Nm of peak torque. The company makes this car completely worth the money with strong features at a low price. Needless to say, how much this car is liked among the customers, and now after the launch of the new model of this hatchback, its sales are sure to increase.
Dhansu Features in low price
Apart from this, many advanced features have also been added to the car. It has a 7-inch SmartPlay Studio infotainment system with smartphone navigation, which comes with 4 speakers. The new WagonR with HEARTECT platform offers better safety measures for its riders. Many safety features have been provided in it including dual airbags, antilock braking system, electronic brake-force distribution, front seat belt reminder, high-speed alert system and rear parking sensors.
The new WagonR is already claiming much better mileage. The company said that its 1.0L engine will give a mileage of 25.19 km/l in the petrol version, which is about 16 percent more than the old model. On the other hand, this mileage in S-CNG will be 34.05 kmpl, which is 5 percent more than its current model. In the coming time, Maruti Suzuki is going to launch cars like updated Vitara Brezza, Ertiga and XL6. Apart from this, the new Alto can also be launched soon.
