Chargerlab experts have conducted a large test on the compatibility of various Apple chargers with the latest iPhone 14 Pro Max. As a result, it was found out that it is better not to use an old charger with 5 W of power with the device: it will take 5 hours to fully charge the smartphone with it.
Well, the iPhone 14 Pro Max is charged the fastest with a unit that delivers 96 W of power – it charges the phone by 47% (2031 mAh) in half an hour, by 84% (3631 mAh) – in an hour, by 100% (4323 mAh) – for 1 hour and 49 minutes. It would seem that with such power, the phone should charge faster, but the iPhone 14 Pro Max is able to “utilize” only 26.5 watts of power. And in this, of course, it is very much inferior to Android flagships.
The testers also noted that the iPhone 14 Pro Max is compatible with third-party chargers that support USB Power Delivery.
