The MG ZS EV was priced at Rs 21.99 lakh for the base variant Excite and Rs 25.88 lakh for the top model Exclusive. This difference in price is so high because the company has given 44.5 kWh battery in its base variant while 50.3 kWh battery has been given in its exclusive variant. But now a bigger battery can be given in its base variant as well.
If its base variant will be brought, it is expected that there will be no change in its price as its first batch is completely sold out. The MG ZS EV received a great response from the customers and was sold out in no time for 2022 but could be made available in a total of three variants in the new year.
The leaked document shows that the company has registered three variants and all three get a 50.3 kWh battery that offers a range of 461 km. In such a situation, it can be said that a bigger battery will be given in the new base variant, due to which its price may also increase slightly.
The MG ZS EV with this battery delivers 174 bhp and 280 Newton of torque and accelerates from 0 – 100 km/h in 8.5 seconds. The company MG ZS EV will soon be brought with Ivory interior theme as well. Currently it is only available with Dark Gray interior theme. With the new model, the company can also add some new features.
In terms of features, it will get an electrically-adjustable driver seat, a panoramic sunroof, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a wireless smartphone charger, rain-sensing wipers and a fully digital instrument cluster. It comes with digital Bluetooth key, rear-drive assist, 360-degree camera, hill descent control and more than 75 connected car features.
new electric car
The new model of MG ZS EV has also been a great success and more than 5000 units have been sold. Now the company is preparing to bring a new small electric car soon, which has also been seen testing. We estimate that the company can present this small electric car during the Auto Expo next year.
MG Motor had brought the electric SUV as its second model and while it was a resounding success, its facelift model has also received good response. In such a situation, now it is preparing to bring a car priced below Rs 10 lakh in the Indian market.
