The American equipment manufacturer Dell is leaving the Russian market, now there is a staff reduction. This information was confirmed by a source in the company to RTVI.
“August 30 is the last day. The state now has 250 employees. Employees will be paid up to eight salaries upon dismissal, ”said the source of RTVI.
The programmers who remained in St. Petersburg will most likely work with another legal entity. Some of the company’s employees are abroad, they are not yet planned to be fired, we are only talking about reducing the staff of the Russian office. Now the company is discussing the issue of fulfilling obligations to Russian clients after the closure of the legal entity in the country.
The number of Dell employees who left Russia was approximately 10% of the total, and they left, including for Egypt and Kuwait. Employees of the company are given equipment for free, leave VHI for the family until the end of 2022, and some are also paid a bonus.
