The 7th Global Technology Summit will be held in New Delhi from today

New Delhi: The 7th Global Technology Summit (GTS) is starting from today i.e. 29th November in New Delhi. According to an advertisement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs, the summit will continue till December 1, 2022. According to the ministry, it will be held in New Delhi in a hybrid format. The theme of this year’s summit is ‘The Geopolitics of Technology’.

The Global Technology Summit (GTS) is one of the premier annual events organized by India on Geotechnology. It is jointly organized by Ministry of External Affairs and Carnegie India. It has started from 2016. Since then it has been held every year. This is the 7th year of GTS. It will continue from 29 November to 1 December 2022.

During these three days of the event, world experts will discuss important issues related to technology, government, security, space, startups, data, law, public health, climate change, education, economy etc. Issues such as future benefits and challenges of technology, sustainability, emerging politics in technology, data for development, considerations for India’s G20 presidency will also be discussed.

GTS 2022 will feature more than 100 speakers in more than 50 panel discussions, keynotes, book launches, and other events. Ministers and senior government officials from the US, Singapore, Nigeria, Brazil, Bhutan, European Union, and other countries will participate in the conference. In the inaugural session of the Summit, Foreign Minister Dr. Jio Digital and its impact. S. Jaishankar will present his views. More than 5 thousand people from all over the world have registered to participate in the summit. In addition, a large number of GTS Summits will be linked through the website and Carnegie India’s YouTube channel and social media pages.
