Tecno Camon 30 5G: What to Expect from the Upcoming Smartphone Series in India
Tecno’s latest smartphone series, the ‘Camon 30 5G,’ is set to debut in India soon, with its microsite already live on the e-commerce platform Amazon. It’s anticipated that Tecno will introduce both the Tecno Camon 30 5G and Camon 30 Premier 5G models to the Indian market. These phones were initially launched globally in February of this year, and most features from the global variants are expected to carry over to the Indian models.
As per available information, the Camon 30 5G is slated to feature a 50-megapixel primary camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, it will boast a 50-megapixel front camera.
Meanwhile, the Camon 30 Premier 5G will sport a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary camera with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.
Both devices are expected to feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, with the Camon 30 Premier 5G offering a 144Hz refresh rate and the Camon 30 5G featuring a 120Hz refresh rate. The Camon 30 series is likely to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7020 processor, while the Premier model may include the Dimensity 8200 Ultra chipset. Official confirmation on these specifications is awaited, along with further details on the upcoming smartphones.
From the microsite, it’s evident that the focus is on the Camon series’ cameras, with emphasis on design excellence. However, the launch date for the phones remains undisclosed. It’s anticipated that the ‘Camon 30 5G’ series will hit the Indian market either by the end of this month or in early June.
