The special thing is that Tata Motors gets orders for these not only from the Indian Army but also from abroad. One such vehicle is the Xenon DC 4X4 which serves as a troop carrier for the defence.
The Xenon DC 4X4 is available in both hard top and soft top option and can seat a maximum of 9 passengers. It has bench seats at the rear where 4 people can sit, while two in the first row and three in the second row can sit. This car is equipped with a 2956cc 4-cylinder diesel engine that generates 112hp power and 300NM torque. It also has 4X4 capabilities which allow it to navigate through difficult terrains with ease. Additionally, the car gets power steering and wheelbase of 3150 mm. However, the Xenon DC 4X4 is available on order only for defense purposes.
