Tata Motors has launched the new Tigor EV with an updated range. It will now get 315 km (ARAI certified) range on full charge.
Some new technology and features have also been found in the updated version sedan EV. At the same time, Tigor EV will now be available in the new Magnetic Red color option. The price of the new range of Tigor II starts from Rs 12.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
Additional features on the Tigor EV include leatherette upholstery, leather wrapped steering wheel, rain sensing wipers, auto headlamps and cruise control. It will be more technology packed with smart features like multi-mode regen, connected car technology – Z Connect, smartwatch connectivity, ITPMS and tire puncture repair kit.

The Tigor EV produces 55 kW of power and 170 Nm of torque and is powered by a 26-kW liquid-cooled, high energy density battery pack and IP67 rated battery pack and motor to make it weather-proof.
Similar to the Nexon EV Prime, Tata Motors is offering a free feature update pack to existing Tigor EV owners through a software update. Customers can get their vehicles upgraded with multi-mode regeneration, iTPMS and tire puncture repair kit. Apart from this, customers can also avail smartwatch connectivity upgrade in the existing XZ+ and XZ+ DT variants. From December 20, 2022, this service can be availed by visiting any Tata Motors service center.

Chandra claims that the Tiago EV has received an overwhelming response and has already received over 20,000 bookings within a month of its launch. He further added that the new version of Tigor EV has been updated with more technology and premium features. The company is conducting analysis on customer driving patterns derived from over 600 million kms covered on Indian roads.
