Delhi: The demand for electric vehicles in India is increasing day by day since last year. In such a situation, many companies are launching their electric vehicles in the auto market. Tata Motors is at the forefront of selling electric cars in India. The company’s Tata Nexon EV is selling the most. Tata Motors launched its cheapest electric car Tata Tiago EV in October 2022. Initially its price was Rs 8.49 lakh. Only the first 20 thousand customers will get the benefit of this price. The car received 10,000 bookings on the first day and has crossed 20,000 till date.
First day delivery to customers across 133 cities
Recently Tata Motors has started the delivery of this EV (Tata Nexon EV delivery). Tata Motors has announced that the company has commenced full deliveries of the electric car Tiago EV. Also, the first 2,000 units of the electric hatchback have been delivered to customers across 133 cities in India on day one, revealed the company. Tata Tiago EV comes in four trims XE, XT, XZ+ and XZ+ Tech Lux. Cars are segmented on the basis of battery pack and charging options. It has two battery pack options 19.2kWh and 24kWh.
4 charging options are given
The company claims that the 19.2 kWh battery offers a range of up to 250 km on a full charge, while the larger battery pack offers a range of up to 315 km on a full charge. A total of 4 charging options have been given in the car. It can be charged from 10-100 percent in 3.6 hours with a 7.2kW charger. It can be charged from 10 to 100 percent in 8.7 hours with a 15A portable charger. Similarly, with a DC fast charger, the car can be charged from 10 to 100 percent in just 58 minutes.
